Carma Acoustic Blues Presents Paul Reddick
Calgary’s Epcor Centre presents the first installment of their 2006 -07 season of the Carma Acoustic Blues Series Oct 26 with harmonica player/vocalist Paul Reddick.
Songs that crisscross the landscape of traditional Americana music.
A strong soulful vocalist, Paul Reddick’s harmonica playing is a blend of complex rhythmic patterns and soaring solo lines. His lyrics, influenced by poets like William Blake and Kenneth Rexroth, have a close-up whisper-in-your-ear quality. Reddick’s most recent recording, Villanelle, was produced by Colin Linden and nominated for the 2006 JUNO for Best Blues Album. This acoustic duo performance will kick off the 2006/07 Carma Acoustic Blues Series.
