Blues Hits

I’m happy to report the first annual Kaos Blues Festival was a smashing success, with great local, national and international acts gracing our stage over the weekend. The stellar talent was matched only by the quality of people who possess them. It was a true privilege to meet Eddy ‘The Chief’ Clearwater and his lovely wife Renee, Magic Slim and the Teardrops, and Sam Cockrell (whom I’ve met before, what a gracious man and a superb musician!), along with many more of those that have formed the blues scene globally.

It was with great pride that we invited these visiting artists to enjoy our beautiful city, and to experience first hand the superlative talent that Canada has to offer, Amos Garrett, Johnny V, Tim Williams and Billy Joe Green among them.

I have many wonderful memories to cherish thanks to them all, and have much to share with you, dear reader, by way of photographs, stories and interviews. Stay tuned!.
