Toronto’s Grand Festival of Autumnal Happiness launches its sixth annual season featuring Canada’s finest in jazz and improvised music. Presented by Rob Clutton and Tim Posgate, the festival is a welcomed event long after the summer festival season has drawn to a close. Among the notables headlining are vocalist Don Francks, who appears with the Tim Posgate Hornband, trumpeter Lina Allemano in trio with Rob Clutton and Ryan Driver, and the Shuffle Demon Duo, featuring Richard Underhill and Stitch Wynston.

Pared down from the four-day festival of the past, this year’s venues include the Red Guitar Arthouse Cafe, who will host the first night’s performances, and the beautiful St. Andrew by-the-Lake church on Ward’s Island, where an afternoon performance will close the festival.
