Kaos Blues Announces First Festival Headliner

Kaos Blues and the Calgary Blues Music Association,/b> have announced the first of their many headline acts with the confirmation of guitar legend Johnny Winter, who will appear at theBeltline Blues Festival on June 23rd, 2006 at the in Calgary.

The festival, now entering its second year, hosts over 20 live blues music groups on its outdoor stage, and features a variety of local, national and international artists. Throughout the week preceding the outdoor festival, a number of events will take place, including local club performances, workshops, dance parties, and various outdoor downtown lunch hour performances.

This year’s festival runs June 23, 24 and 25, 2006.
