Jazz Quartet Altered Laws to Perform This Weekend in Vancouver
Vancouver is buzzing with the news that one of Canada’s finest contemporary jazz quartets, Altered Laws, is performing this weekend at Cellar Jazz.
Founded by Juno Award winning saxophonist/flutist Tom Keenlyside and the masterful pianist Miles Black, Altered Laws is completed by two fellow greats Miles Hill (bass) and Bernie Arai (drums). Performing original and melodic Keenleyside/Black compositions, the group is known for inventing an intriguing and creatively challenging approach to their music at each turn. Highly recommended.
