Calgary Jazz Festival Starts This Week
Calgary jazz fans will get to enjoy their resurrected jazz festival starting this Thursday, June 15th, with a full ten days of great music by local, regional and international artists. There are a variety of free and paid concert performances to choose from, with music ranging from contemporary jazz to big band, funk and world music in a great blend of the finest in jazz!
C-Jazz, a jazz organization in Calgary, stepped in at the last minute to save the shows booked by the recently folded TD Calgary International Jazz Festival. The group is presenting the artists that signed by the previous organization. The festival runs June 15 - 24th.
