Guitarist/singer/songwriter Guy Chaput will debut his explosive new band “Sci-Fi,” Oct. 27 & 28 at Stix Club in Calgary.

Often slotted in the blues market, this artist truly defies description with his unique blend of blues, R&B, rock & roll, funk, and above all, soul.

The Manitoba native now makes Calgary his home base, where he is taking the city by storm with his raw, gritty sound and his passionate, honest songwriting. Chaput’s fiery guitar style lends a keen edge to his rough-hewn singing, while the Sci-Fi Band, his new powerhouse formation of leading Calgary musicians Dave Currie (guitar), Curtis Cripps (bass), and Duris Maxwell (drums), perfectly supports the artist’s bold voice.
