Local Edmonton greats, drummer Sandro Dominelli, pianist Chris Andrew, and bassist Rubim de Toledo will be appearing this Friday, Feb. 9th at the Yardbird Suite. The group is known as the D.A.D. Trio.

The three musicians have burgeoning careers as leaders in Canadian jazz, all recognized nationally and internationally as top drawer players. All are composers of note, with works that range from varying genres of jazz to world and electronic music.

Their D.A.D. Trio project features originals and standards with Jazz and World-Jazz influences. The group will be aired on CBC radio in November, and will be in the studio in October to record their first CD together.
