Along with the announcement of their first headline acts comes the news of the group’s new home base at Pumphouse Park, adjacent to the Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary. The 2007 festival will take place at the new venue, extending to four days from the previous three.

In addition to the four days on location, Calgary Bluesfest will also present a host of events during the week leading up to the event, including workshops, noon hour performances, a featured showcase with the Hammond B3 organ, a special acoustic blues in the round concert, and a literary/music event.
