Win Tickets to see Keith Jarrett and Support Public Radio

JAZZ.FM.91, Toronto’s 24/7 jazz radio station, is making an offer that is bound to to turn many a jazz ear. The publicly-owned broadcaster is holding a contest in conjunction with it’s bi-annual fundraiser that offers two tickets to the upcoming Keith Jarrett Trio concert during the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival in June.

Pledge your support to JAZZ.FM91 between now and Monday’s start of their on-air campaign, and you could win a weekend stay at the Sheraton Centre Toronto and two tickets to see Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock and Jack De Johnette, Friday, June 29th at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, Toronto’s brand-new state-of-the-art concert hall.

The Jarrett/Peacock/De Johnette trio will be appearing as part of the as part of the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival’s GRANDMASTERS Series, which also includes Dave Brubeck (June 25) and Oscar Peterson (June 26).

JAZZ.FM91 began more than 50 years ago as Ryerson’s university radio station. Today the publicly owned broadcaster boasts a listenership of over 320,000 listeners a week, running debt-free with no government support. As with all public radio, the station is dependent upon their bi-annual fundraising efforts in order to fulfill its all-jazz format within a non-profit, educational context. The contest is running as part of their Spring 2007 campaign effort.
