Blues, camping, and good times abound in Rock Creek this summer
The 10th annual Sky High Blues Festival will take place this August 4 & 5th in Rock Creek, BC, at the crossroads of Highways 3 & 33 along the Kettle River in Boundary Country.
The small but mighty event features some of the top names in Canadian and international blues, with a headline roster that includes a return by Vancouver guitar great David Gogo; Gerald Charlie & The Black Owl Blues Band of Lake Errock, B.C.; blues-rockers the Rippin’ Rattlers, who hail from the Kootenay region; lap guitar blues legend Sonny Rhodes out of Florida; Salmon Arm’s 8-piece R&B phenom the Salmon Armenians; and the jump sounds of The Twisters (Vancouver), who’ve just returned to Canada after a successful European tour.
Weekend Passes are only $75 and includes your choice of riverside camping and a membership to the Sky High Blues Society.
