South Delta Jazz Festival Grows Up

The 4th annual South Delta Jazz Festival will run Saturday, June 30 to Saturday July 8th with a variety of concerts and workshops. The festival, which has grown yearly since its inception, has grown to become one of Vancouver’s most sought after festival experiences.

Founded by Delta Music School instructors Jared Burrows and Stephen Robb in 2004, the program gives music students an opportunity learn about jazz improvisation during an intensive one-week program and a unique opportunity to play and learn side by side with professional musicians in small ensemble settings.

South Delta Jazz Workshop Student ensembles. Come hear our students perform jazz standards and original compositions, together with our workshop faculty. This year we are joining forces with the Delta Hospital Open House to support their Open House event.
