Kaslo Jazzfest Schedule of Performers

The 16th Annual Kaslo Jazz Etc. Summer Music Festival gets underway August 3-5 in the B.C. mountain village at the Kaslo Bay Park. Featuring a floating mainstage, the event offers a mix of regional and international jazz and more.

Headliners will include Canadian icon Bruce Coburn; Gospel vocal greats the Blind Boys of Alabama; the David Friesen Trio from Portland, Oregon; Hugh Fraser’s Vancouver Ensemble of Jazz Improvisation (VEGI); and the Jensen Five, lead by B.C. sisters Ingrid and Christine Jensen, trumpeter and saxophonist respectively.

Other main stage performers to appear include chamber jazz group Swing en 4 (Costa Rica), fusion phenom Djabe (Hungary), Maple Blues Award-winner Ndidi Onukwulu Band (Canada), and Latin Jazz group Rumba Calzada (Canada).
