Duncan’s Sunfest Crowd Will Rock to Powder Blues
If you happen to be in the Duncan, BC area next Friday, Powder Blues will be performing in Duncan’s city square as part of the Sunfest event.
One of Canada’s most recognized blues bands, the award-winning Powder Blues have been making crowds smile for over three decades. Founded by guitarist/producer Tom Lavin, the band features pianist Willie McAlder, bassist Bill Runge, tenor saxman Jerry Cook, trumpeter Bill Clark, and drummer Darryl Bennett.
HItting the heights of success with their Uncut album in 1980, Powder Blues has garned handfuls of Junos, a W.C. Handy award, toured the world performing festivals and clubs, and released more than a dozen albums.
