C-Jazz Festival Runs August 28 to September 1st

Calgary celebrates the second jazz festival of the summer season when the C-Jazz Carnivale runs August 23 to September 1st.

Organizers have already made a major announcement, that guitar giant Bill Frisell will be appearing Friday, August 31, at Quincy’s with his all-star trio of drummer Joey Baron and bassist Tony Scherr. Opening the evening’s concert is Calgary guitarist Aaron Young.

The full lineup is expected to be announced later this month.
