Waterloo Uptown Jazz Festival Continues This Weekend

Jake Langley, Sophie Milman Headline Weekend Concerts
The 15th Annual Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival continues this weekend in the Ontario city, with a mainstage featuring a fine selection of jazz, located at 100 Regina Street South.

Kicking off on Thursday with the opening night gala event starring Emily Barlow, the festival runs four days in total, with two more full days of music slated for this weekend. The outdoor concerts are free to the public.

Today’s mainstage headliners include 24 year old jazz vocal sensation Sophie Milman, who has topped the Billboard charts in Canada and the U.S. since hitting the scene in 2004, while tomorrow’s offerings include New York-based guitarist Jack Langley with Hammond B3 great Joey DeFrancesco.
