Jazz Vocalist will Appear in Edmonton and Calgary this Month

Toronto jazz vocalist Holly Cole will be in Alberta October 15 & 16th, performing concerts in Edmonton and Calgary with special guest pianist Michael Kaeshammer.

Holly Cole was born and raised in the Maritimes into a musical family. Discovering jazz in her teens, the singer founded her first trio in 1986, and creating her signature sound, taking familiar songs from the pop and jazz genres and re-arranging them to become her own. Since releasing her debut album Girl Talk in 1986, the singer has recorded six more albums, with six of the seven becoming gold and platinum records.

Still in his mid-20′s, Vancouver pianist Michael Kaeshammer offers a polished live show that features the artists improvisational talents and prodigious technique.

Alberta concerts are slated for Edmonton, October 15th at Winspear Centre, and in Calgary at the Epcor Centre on October 16th.
