Blues Guitarist Tours Nine Canadian Cities in Support of New CD
Blues guitarist Colin James and his Little Big Band make a stop in Calgary to perform with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) on Tuesday, December 18, at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. The tour date is in support of the musician’s new CD, Colin James and the Little Big Band Christmas.
James and his Little Big Band will appear in Calgary along a nine-city tour across Canada, with symphony orchestras across the country accompanying the blues musician and featuring music from the new CD.
Under the baton of conductor Pierre Simard, the CPO will accompany Colin James and the Little Big Band through a program of selections including Let It Snow, Baby It’s Cold Outside, Boogie Woogie Santa Claus and a bluesy version of Merry Christmas, Baby and more.
