Singer Young will be joined for the performances by the Big Beat Band, an ensemble of some of the city’s top players (who also appear on the album) including: Gerry Hebert (sax, flute, clarinet), Al Muirhead (trumpet, flugelhorn), Dave Reid (trombone) Simon Fisk (bass), John DeWaal (drums), Derek Stoll (piano) and Keith Smith (guitar). Alongside his busy restaurant business Young has been developing his career as a singer, appearing at the club and in private engagements. He has built a solid fan base for his crooning style and his swinging band. Tickets are $15 and are available by calling 263-1650.
