Quitzau Returns to Blues Trio Roots for Home Province Tour
Blues and roots musician Lester Quitzau, Juno Award winning singer-songwriter and guitarist returns to his blues roots and trio sound for a spring tour in his home province of Alberta. Joining the gifted artist for the performances are Edmonton greats Mike Lent (bass) and Sandro Dominelli (drums).
Quitzau is well-known around the globe for his work with musical partners Bill Bourne and Madagascar Slim, with whom he formed the acoustic improvisational group Tri-Continental, and his Very Electric Trio with Lyle Molzan (drums) and Greg Johnston (bass).
Lester moved to the west coast when he married talented artist/singer/songwriter Mae Moore, with whom he now writes, performs and records with. The pair released their debut CD, Oh My in 2004 and keep a busy touring schedule.
