An Eclectic Lineup Offers Something For Everyone

The Calgary International Jazzfest runs it’s 29th year this June 24-29 with an eclectic range of jazz, blues, funk, gospel and more.

Announced international headline artists include legendary pianist Dave Brubeck, trumpeter Wynton Marsalis with the Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestra, Oslo pop-jazz phenomenon Beady Belle, a capella sensation Naturally 7, funk-meister Maceo Parker with singer Divine Brown, jazz vocal legend Andy Bey and blues guitar wizard Robert Cray with singer Molly Johnson.

Canadian giants include Cuban master Hilario Duran, Toronto’s Davidson/Murley/Braid Quintet, Montreal’s L’orkestre des Pas Perdus (OPP), and Edmonton saxophonist Jerrold Dubyk.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (USA)

Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis heads up the prestigious Lincoln Centre Orchestra for an evening of the finest in large ensemble jazz.
