Festival Draws Top-Drawer Gospel, Blues Acts

Some of the greatest names in gospel blues headline Back To The Blues, July 25-27 in Chilliwack, BC at the Threshermen’s Village. Chilliwack is located 60 miles East of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dubbed “The Best Little Gospel Blues Festival West of Chicago,” the 5th annual Back to the Blues Gospel Blues Festival features a full roster of blues veterans as well as up and coming stars of tomorrow.

Headline artists confirmed include: Danny Brooks, Peace Makers, Darrell Mansfield, Wes Mackey and The Timmed and Burnin’ Blues Project, Johnny Mannion, Dusty Shoes, KL Williams & Rebel Soul, Darrell Lahay & the Chop Liver Band, Surrender, Ken Whitley, Gene Murphy and the Knitting Club, White Moses and Fury, Steve Delemar and Soul In One, Dr. Blu, Aaron Loewen and Band, Ken Tucker and Dr. Bones.

Also programmed is a motorcycling event which includes “Show & Shine” and biker games. There are classes for various size bikes and games for both singles and doubles.

Back to Blues is a family event, complete with a kids’ park, food concessions and a free corn roast. On-site camping is available on a first come, first served basis.
