Group assembles for sixth season of Holiday Jazz
For the sixth year running, the B3 Kings will appear at the Cellar for back-to-back shows on Friday & Saturday, December 12 & 13 at Cellar Jazz club in Vancouver. The group is formed by Chris Gestrin (Hammond B3 Organ), Cory Weeds (saxophone), Bill Coon (guitar) and features vocal sensatiion Denzal Sinclaire, who doubles on drums.
Keyboard man Chris Gestrin is responsible for the creative arrangements of the Christmas classics.
The B3 Kings first arrived on the scene in 2002, appearing for a Christmas concert at The Cellar. The show was such a huge success the concert has become an annual event. The group also released an album, A Cellar Live Christmas (Cellar Live, 2004), which has received rave reviews around the world. Jazzreview.com called it “one of the greatest Christmas recordings ever.”
