Trio of Jazz Legends to Headline Event

After being a satellite location for Saskatoon’s jazz festival for many years, Jazz Regina has stepped out on their own to present their first annual festival June 26-28.

JazzFest Regina 2009 will feature headline artists Mose Allison, legendary blues pianist and singer; saxophonist Chris Potter’s Underground band; and trombonist Hugh Fraser and his VEJI band. In addition to the main acts are 11 local bands who will perform at a variety of venues throughout the weekend. More details will be announced over the coming weeks.

3-Day festival passes and individual events tickets will be made available in June.
