Leading Alberta, L.A Bassists Showcased in Concerts

Some of Alberta’s finest jazz bassists come together in performance to celebrate the work of electric bass guitar legend Jaco Pastorius on Friday and Saturday, May 14 & 15 at the Auburn Lounge. Both nights will kick off at 9pm and will feature the music of Pastorius.

Joining Alberta greats Kodi Hutchinson, Rubim de Toledo, Simon Fisk, Greg Carrol, Mark Johnson, John Hyde, John Gray, Stefano Valdo and Brendan Rothwell is special guest Ric Fierabracci of Los Angeles.

Fierabracci is a renowned bassist who has toured and/or recorded with such artists as Chick Corea, Sir Tom Jones, Dave Weckl, Nancy Sinatra, Planet X, and The 5th Dimension. He also appears in Shakira’s music video, “Inevitable”. www.ricfierabracci.com
